Rotary Hutt City was the first Rotary club in the Hutt Valley, founded in 1943. Historically, many of our members were High Street business owners but today our membership includes professional men and women from all walks of life, who live and work in different parts of our community.

Over the years, our club has been responsible for thousands of community projects and we continue to serve many wonderful people and community groups. For the past 74 years' we have met on a Wednesday lunchtime. However, we have made some exciting changes and as of 16 August 2017, we are a Breakfast Club.

Where: Buzz Cafe, 101 High Street, Lower Hutt

Time: 7 am - 8.30 am first and third Wednesday of the month

Our meetings provide you with the opportunity to network with other business people, hear a great speaker and be part of the great activities that Rotarians are doing in your community!

Rotary is changing with the times. We are always looking for ways to be innovative and progressive while still offering fun, fellowship and ‘service above self’.

Contact our President — Charles Peterson at or call on 021 420 792  if you would like to come to a meeting or find out a little more about Rotary.

The Rotary motto remains unchanged "Service Above Self".

Rotarians provide assistance for all types of people in the community, whether they are young or old. If a worthy project is identified you will probably see a Rotarian involved somewhere.

The Rotary Club of Hutt City is a group of vibrant individuals making a difference in the community and around the world. Why not consider joining us?
