What is Rotobiz?
Rotary Club membership represents a cross-section of our community's business and professional people. Rotary clubs meet regularly, are non-political and non-religious. We are open to people from all cultures, races, and faiths.
Rotary’s driving value is "Service Above Self". We do this by supporting our local community, and communities throughout the world. Rotary mixes business networking opportunities, both locally and internationally, with social activity and social responsibility.
Our work in supporting community projects at home and overseas is fun as well as rewarding. Showing you care by being involved also gives you an edge in a competitive market where businesses and organisations want to align their values.
The Rotary symbol is one of the most recognisable emblems in the world. It reflects trust and honesty. When dealing with a Rotarian you know that you are dealing with someone who can be trusted.
Rotary operates under a simple four-way test:
- Is it the truth?
- Is it fair to all concerned?
- Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
- Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
Rotarians develop service projects that address community issues such as children at risk, poverty, hunger, the environment, literacy, and violence. Rotarians also support a wide range of programs for youth. We offer educational opportunities and international exchanges for students, teachers, and other professionals as well as vocational and career development.
Corporate membership allows businesses to nominate up to four people who can represent them at a club meeting. Until now, Rotary has been by individual membership. However, we recognise that for some businesses there is too much pressure for one person to be able to commit regularly to an organisation. We want Rotary to add to your life, not take from it. Corporate membership enables your staff to be mentored and to develop their marketing, leadership, and other personal skills.
Attendance at Rotary is no longer measured. Come when you can, participate when you can, but most of all, while serving others, have fun and enjoy yourself.

Rotary Hutt City is a group of more than 50 respected members from our city. We meet for breakfast on the first and third Wednesday of each month at Boulcott’s Farm Heritage Golf Club, Military Road, Lower Hutt. We would be delighted to have your business attend a breakfast as our guest. Come and see what Rotary is doing in our community.
As a leading club in our district, we are the only club that currently offers corporate membership.
